Our Data Sources

Accuracy is our priority. We rely on the most authoritative demographic data available to power our calculators.

🏛️

U.S. Census Bureau

The vast majority of our income, marital status, and education data is sourced directly from the U.S. Census Bureau. Specifically, we utilize microdata from the Current Population Survey (CPS) and the American Community Survey (ACS).

CDC (NHANES)

Our height and body type statistics are derived from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. This data is measured physically rather than self-reported, ensuring higher accuracy.

Statistical Independence

Our model assumes joint probability distribution across these datasets. While we account for age-stratified correlations, treat individual calculator results as high-confidence estimates based on national averages.
